All in One SEO Pack Wordpress Plugin

In our series of ‘10 SEO Tools you must have to optimize your Website’, today, we will discouss a WordPress Plugin, which is like a boon for any Blogging Website. Just Login into your wp-admin and goto Plugins. If you goto ‘Add Plugin’ and type SEO to find search results.
Out of these, I will suggest Yoast SEO & All in One SEO Pack. My person opinion, I recommend All in One SEO. It has more than 1 million installations & 4.5 Star rating with 447 reviews. Because it’s the ONLY free plugin to provide SEO Integration for e-Commerce sites, including WooCommerce.
This plugin is for all. For beginners, you don’t even have to look at the options, it works out-of-the-box. Just install. For advanced users, you can fine-tune everything to optimize your SEO. You can override any title and set any META description and any META keywords you want.
Here, you can see all your posts together and good thing is that if you wish to update your Blog’s SEO Title, Description and Keywords; you can do it from here only. This All in One SEO Pack plugin works like a magic. I will suggest everyone, whether you are a beginner or an expert, to install this plugin into your WordPress Website to improve the ranking of your website.
Canonical URLs
This setting is checked by default. This is because the Canonical URLs setting protects you from being punished by Google for duplicate content, or having multiple URLs leading to the same content. Google has a post on their Webmaster Central Blog which details the issues Googlebot faces with indexing duplicate content and how to avoid it. Remember, having this box checked helps you follow Google Rules
For Bloggers, still I will suggest that if you are posting and sharing your link, suppose there is a website http://www.w3developers.co.in and you type normally, w3developers.com or you type without typing http://, in all 3 scenarios, it will open the same website But if you promote these three links, it may be possible it will display 10 Links posted with http, 10 without http and 10 complete. NOT 30 altogether. Canonical Issue is a nightmare for SEO Strategists but this Plugin is a sign of Relief for all of us
Homepage Settings
Under homepage settings section, you can specify a title for your homepage. This title can be different from your WordPress website’s title. You want to make it catchy and use your most important keywords in the title.
If you leave this field blank, then All in One SEO will use the default WordPress website title. Whether you use a different title or the same title as your blog, make sure that it contains your website’s main keywords. This should be in character linmit upto 60. Same goes with Description. It should be in permissible limit of 160 characters.
Webmaster Verification
This is where you will add webmaster verification code provided by Google, Bing or Pinterest to verify ownership of your website.
We highly recommend that you sign up for Google Webmaster Tools and Bing Webmaster Tools because it will help your SEO. Connecting your site will help these search engines to notify you when there is something wrong with your website.
These webmaster tools will also provide you with useful insights about your site, and your search engine rankings. You can then use that information to plan your content strategy and improve your site’s SEO.
If you use Pinterest to bring traffic to your WordPress site, then verifying your site with Pinterest will allow you to use Pinterest Analytics.
Google Settings
Under the Google settings section, you can enter your Google Analytics ID & you must be assured that Advanced Anaytics Options should be ‘Enabled’. In Tracking domain, you must put your Website’s URL link.
XML Sitemap Settings in All in One SEO
Sitemap Generators are very important for SEO Point of View. These can be generated online and you need to place HTML or XML file of sitemap generator on your website. But if you have activated All in One SEO Pack, All you need to do is visit All in One SEO » XML Sitemap page and check the box next to ‘Notify Google’ and ‘Notify Bing’ options.
Leave rest of the settings as they are and click on the update options button
